Painting Towards Freedom

An online exhibit of works by immigrant youth artists in South Florida

What’s it like to be a young person coming of age in this time of pandemic? What are the experiences of youth who are undocumented or come from immigrant families that already faced tremendous hardship before COVID-19?

In this online art exhibit, 10 immigrant youth activists use paintings to illustrate their struggles in this pandemic, their deep love for their families and communities, and their commitment to organizing for migrant justice.
