Kee and August are working to debunk carceral narratives

Inspired by the Emerging Leaders for Liberation program, and by their own experiences growing up in Chicago, Kee Taylor and August Hupp worked together on a powerful zine they called ‘The Miseducation of Illinois: Debunking Carceral Narratives.’ Hear them explain the project in their own words.

Soñando y Cambiando: A vision to heal our communities

This mural was inspired by a youth 10-point plan led by young people from 67 Sueños and other youth organizations in the Free Our Kids (FOK) Coalition in Alameda County. The youth from the FOK have a vision to change the way we approach juvenile justice in Alameda County.
