As a Quaker organization, we believe that every person has inherent worth and should be treated with dignity, no matter where they were born. We join with people across the country demanding that our elected officials uphold these values, too.
But since taking office, the Trump administration has taken brutal measures to vastly expand detention and deportation. Now it is targeting peaceful protesters in Los Angeles and could do the same elsewhere.
