Watch the video: AFSC staff and volunteers assemble and distribute food parcels in Gaza.
Last month, our team in Gaza delivered more than 1,000 food parcels to Palestinian families who have been forced to flee their homes. Each parcel was assembled to fill critical gaps, providing everyday cooking staples that they hadn’t already received from other aid groups.
Each food parcel contained items like cheese, sugar, olive oil, beans, and tomato paste—simple foods that families can cook into a meal or eat as-is when there's no way to cook at all.
For families living under devastating conditions, this kind of support makes a real difference.
The genocide is not over, and the conditions in Gaza remain dire. Access is still heavily restricted, making it difficult to bring in essential goods. Shortages of food, fuel, and other necessities persist.
Many families are still displaced—living in tents, overcrowded shelters, or damaged buildings—with little access to clean water or medical care. Prices are high, and jobs are gone. The widespread destruction of homes, businesses, and infrastructure has made earning a living nearly impossible.
Despite everything they face, families are cooking, supporting their neighbors, and holding their communities together. Still, the need continues to grow each day.
This April delivery is part of our ongoing humanitarian relief efforts in Gaza. Thanks to supporters like you, we have reached more than one million Palestinians with food, water, hygiene kits, and other life-saving aid since 2023.
Every donation, every act of solidarity sends a message to families in Gaza that they are not forgotten. Thank you for your continued support. Please keep standing with the people of Gaza. Your voice and your help matter more than ever.
