The CFO (AGS Finance) is responsible to lead the development and implementation of the financial strategy, policy and direction of the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) in partnership with the General Secretary and senior leadership ensuring the organization’s overall financial health and sustainability. Work closely with the Associate General Secretary for Advancement to manage, account for, and project income from gifts, grants, endowments and other sources.

AFSC staff are respected experts in fields ranging from migrant rights to global peace, climate justice, prison abolition, mutual aid, and more. Committed to addressing root causes of war and injustice, AFSC staff collaborate with partner organizations and social justice movements to grow our collective capacity for change.
