Resisting mass detention and deportation

As a Quaker organization, AFSC believes in the inherent worth of every person - no matter where they were born. All people should be treated with dignity and be able to live in peace. But the Trump administration has taken actions to dramatically increase immigrant detention and deportation across the U.S.  Mass detention and deportation of immigrants violates basic human and civil rights. It tears families apart, leaves children without parents, and pulls people from loving communities.

AFSC works for a world where all people have the power to determine where they live and the opportunity to thrive. We honor the Light in every one of us. We support migrants, refugees, and internally displaced people at each stage of their journey.

AFSC provides support and training for immigrants and allies. We are mobilizing to resist inhumane policies. And we are amplifying calls for welcoming, dignified, and just approaches to immigration. Join us!
