  • Read more about Cecile "CC" Crawford
Cecile "CC" Crawford is the Program Director for AFSC North Carolina. CC is a native of Greensboro, NC and an alumna of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical University (Bachelor of Arts in History) and University of North Carolina Greensboro (Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology). She has organized around the issues of housing and healthcare as well as the need for expungements and support for justice-involved individuals. CC is working to disrupt cycles of poverty, whether that be disparities in education, income or housing. She understands the need to build community solidarity across class, race, ethnicity, gender, and U.S.-born or migration status. She loves North Carolina and works hard to help support multi-ethnic, immigrant, refugee, poor, elder, and working-class families in building power from the ground up in order to speak truth to power and make material changes in their conditions. She enjoys time with her three dogs, watching anime and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
