Our federal budget should invest in the health and well-being of all people, not just billionaires or corporate executives. But right now, Congress is debating a budget reconciliation bill that would slash essential programs like Medicaid and SNAP to fund military spending, mass deportations, and tax cuts for the rich.  

The people of Gaza cannot survive with nothing to eat. 

Since March of this year, the government of Israel has blocked almost all food, water, medicine, humanitarian aid and commercial supplies from entering Gaza – while continuing extensive bombing of hospitals, shelters, and residential areas – all with full support from the United States.

May 28 is World Hunger Day. Please join us in fasting on this day to protest what is happening to the Palestinian people in Gaza.
