Austin Headrick serves as the Asia Regional Advocacy Coordinator leading and developing AFSC's Asia advocacy strategy. In this role, Austin engages in public education, policy advocacy, and constituent mobilization to further peace and justice in U.S. policy in Asia. Prior to joining AFSC, Austin spent nearly eight years working with diverse civil society organizations in South Korea and the U.S.
Participants gained practical skills in grassroots organizing, learned how to mobilize communities, engage in outreach, and sustain long-term movements. Organizers emphasized healing justice, creativity, and community building throughout this experience.
