In June 2022 AFSC hosted a DEP in Morocco that centered artists and activists, enabling a space to discuss the role of art in activism, share successes and challenges, and provide an opportunity for connection across backgrounds and nationalities. Photo: Mohamed Morchidi

Global south leaders—from the grassroots, civil society, and government—come together to learn, exchange ideas, and collectively solve problems through AFSC’s Dialogue and Exchange Program (DEP).

Our approach to international dialogue and exchange is rooted in the belief that solutions can be found within a group’s history, knowledge, culture, and resources.

Guided by the Quaker belief in the divine light of each person, AFSC works with people of all faiths and backgrounds to challenge unjust systems and promote lasting peace.
