Sonia Tuma is the regional director for the AFSC’s West region. In that role, she manages AFSC’s programming in the 13-state area covering the western third of the U.S.  The work of the West region includes advocacy and organizing in support of an end to militarism, lasting and just immigration reform, an end to mass incarceration, and other social and economic justice programs.

Jacob Flowers is a native of Memphis where he served for 10 years as the executive director of the Mid-South Peace and Justice Center, a southern multi-issue organization dedicated to building power and furthering peace with justice through organizing and grassroots leadership development.

Robin Aura Kanegis serves as Director of Public Policy and Advocacy for the American Friends Service Committee. Prior to joining AFSC, she served as Director of Campaigns and the Iraq Peace Campaign Director for the Friends Committee on National Legislation. 

Sandra Veloso is equipped with a double degree in Social Science and International Studies from the University of Technology - Sydney. Sandra has worked in program development and management since 1991 and in international development since 2000. She is passionately committed to people empowerment and gender equality. Sandra is highly experienced in training and facilitation; mentoring and team building; intercultural skills; partnership/network engagement; strategic leadership; grassroots civic organizing; and leading change within complex development contexts.

Sharon Goens-Bradley is the Regional Director for the Midwest. Prior to this position, Ms. Goens-Bradley worked for a community foundation doing anti-racism work. Sharon holds a master's degree in counseling psychology and a bachelor's degree in Russian language. She has traveled extensively and has volunteered as a mediator, circle keeper and restorative justice practitioner.

Keith B. Harvey is the regional director for AFSC’s Northeast region, a position he has held since 1992. The region’s work includes peace, economic justice, immigrant rights, and healing/criminal justice issues.

Kimberly Niles joined AFSC as director of planning and evaluation in June 2018. At AFSC, her initial focus is on visioning and execution of a new strategic framework for 2020-2030. 

Jason has more than 20 years of experience in development, communications, strategic planning, and management at organizations focused on social justice, human rights, and global education and leadership. Most recently he was Vice President of Seeds of Peace in New York City. 

Willa is responsible for implementing and managing human resources policies and programs in the areas of recruitment, employment, benefits, employee relations, and equal opportunity employment in compliance with government regulations and organizational for AFSC's staff of over 300 people.

Mark served as the chief marketing and communications officer at the American Friends Service Committee. During his 25 years with the organization, he led efforts in web strategy and development, public education materials, public opinion research, fundraising appeals and marketing, brand strategy, advocacy campaigns, and more.
