Katherine Maddox is a writer based in Atlanta, Georgia, who probably has too many animals for one person, and could not be more delighted with them all. She previously worked with AFSC to create a political education series on the Stop Cop City movement, and is now focusing her efforts on water affordability. Lately, she's been reminding herself that while we don't get to choose the time in which we live, we do get to choose how we live in it. She hopes one day to walk along the shores of a free Palestine.
What military weapons are used today to devastate the lives of millions in Gaza? Which are the U.S. companies that profit from this catastrophe? How can we challenge this business of death and hold these companies accountable? This webinar will feature the staff of the Action Center for Corporate Accountability, a project of the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC), who will share their research and stories of intersectional creative divestment campaigns.
