Broad alliance calls on Iowa’s leaders to take immediate action to protect Iowa’s workers

4-15-20, Des Moines – A broad coalition from around the state will hold a media teleconference via Zoom on Wednesday to talk about their statement asking Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds, the Iowa Department of Public Health and Iowa OSHA to take immediate action by directing Iowa’s business to take decisive steps to protect our state’s workforce from COVID-19. Sixty six immigrants’ rights, refugee, labor, faith and other community organizations have signed this statement urging Iowa’s leaders to take decisive, immediate action to protect the health and safety of Iowa’s workers.
