Artwork #7: "Let Her Learn"

"It's no advantage of going to college; in the end, you end up taking care of your husband, taking care of your children, and cooking in the kitchen,"
You may be familiar with that statement, or you may have even heard it directly from someone close to you. Because, even though we are in a modern era, the negative stigma against women who pursue higher education still exists.
This stigma even continues to emerge when women are increasingly aware of the importance of higher education.
According to survey results, the percentage of highly educated women has tended to increase in recent years. In 2023, there will be around 37.6 percent of women (of the total female population) who will have higher education (high school and above). Compare that to 2018, which was still around 30.99 percent.
Then, in 2021, the BPS (Central Statistics Agency) survey results also showed that 10.06 percent of women over the age of 15 had college degrees. Exceeding men who are around 9.28 percent.
In the next few years, this figure is predicted to continue to increase.
So, women, don't hesitate to dream of achieving the highest possible education.
