Higher Education Resources for Immigrants & First-Generation Students in New Jersey

Every year, thousands of immigrants and first-generation students graduate from high schools in New Jersey. Many are unaware or uncertain of the opportunities available to them in higher education and profesional training courses. The AFSC New Jersey Immigrant Rights Program has developed this resource guide to help clarify those opportunities. Our mission is to provide all students, regardless of immigration status, educators, and parents with the necessary information to navigate New Jersey's education landscape after high school.

New Jersey is classified as a Comprehensive Access state in terms of inclusive in-state tuition and state financial aid policies for undocumented students.
