When our Board of Directors issued a call, 1400 people went to Washington, D.C. in May for a peace vigil and prayer, while an AFSC National Board delegation met with the makers of the Vietnam policy in the White House. We urged an immediate cease-fire and a swift withdrawal of American forces.
