The AGS Finance is responsible to lead the development and implementation of the financial strategy, policy and direction of the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) in partnership with the General Secretary and senior leadership ensuring the organization’s overall financial health and sustainability. Work closely with the Associate General Secretary for Advancement to manage, account for, and project income from gifts, grants, endowments and other sources.

Director of Finance is a member of the finance department leadership team and will assist the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in managing the financial operations of the AFSC. This position is responsible for accounting oversight of some areas of the finance function of the AFSC, financial reporting, and compliance activities, ensuring that financial strategies align with the organization's mission and goals.
