Keang Pouy is a Cambodian national and she is an experienced program coordinator with a diverse background. With seven years of dedicated work in peacebuilding, conflict sensitivity, and youth programs. Her expertise lies in program implementation, where she has successfully led initiatives in Cambodia and contributed to cross-border program growth in the Asia region. Before her role at AFSC, Keang made her mark as a reporter for local newspapers, amassing an impressive eight-year career. She stood out as one of the few active female journalists in Cambodia during that time, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to journalism and storytelling. Throughout her professional journey, Keang has more than a decade of experience working with a wide range of stakeholders, including Chinese corporations, civil society organizations (CSOs), governmental ministries, and grassroots communities across Cambodia. Her fluency in Chinese has enabled her to make significant contributions to projects like translating the "Chinese Geography" textbook for the Confucius Institute in Cambodia and proofreading the Chinese version of the "Cambodian Criminal Code."
