Somalia Program Officer

Benard Adudah is an all-rounded program management professional with over 10 years’ experience in Program management and Administration. He joined AFSC as a Program Officer supporting the Somalia Program project funded by Bread for the World (BftW), from Wadhwani Foundation where he was the Program Manager supporting projects geared towards accelerating economic development by driving job creation in emerging economies, entrepreneurship, innovation, and skilling. He previously was the Assistant Programmes Manager with the National Fund for the Disabled of Kenya.

Benard is passionate about social transformation especially where communities are empowered to decide their anticipated future and has played an instrumental role in organizing youths as agents of change in Somalia. Benard is driven by the desire to improve the welfare of youths through social transformation that would enable them to build movements for social change.

Adudah holds a Master of Science Degree in Project Management degree from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and a bachelor’s degree in Development Studies from Makerere University – Kampala Uganda.
