Arc is the coordinator for AFSC’s Shut Down GEO Coalition. They have been involved in this coalition since its formation in the fall of 2024, and they have been a part of different organizing efforts since age 14. Arc began working at AFSC Colorado initially in June 2024, when they were in school full-time and joined AFSC as the Potts Intern. They graduated from University of Colorado Denver in June 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies, a minor in Spanish, and a certificate in so-called Middle East Politics.
Arc grew up attending a dual language school and, in a bilingual, multicultural community. This environment exposed them to the realities experienced by people who are immigrants, at times a reality of family separation and trauma. And always, a reality rooted in deep community and commitment to protecting one another.
Arc understands that they may never get to enjoy the fruits of the seeds that are being sown in this moment, but they know the importance of building a new world for the children and future generations. It is their honor to work for an organization that recognizes the inherent value of all living beings, and they believe it is their responsibility to stand in solidarity. Arc envisions a world where every being is free, every being is safe, and every being is loved. We all belong to each other.
