Anita Ernstorfer serves as AFSC's International Peacebuilding Director. She has more than 20 years of experience in international peacebuilding, conflict transformation, mediation, and conflict sensitivity. Anita has worked in more than 30 countries, facilitating complex programming and systems-change processes with organizations across the peace, humanitarian, development, and human rights sectors. Before joining AFSC, Anita worked independently through her consulting firm, Untangle, with partners and clients globally; served as Director of the Peacebuilding Effectiveness Practice at CDA Collaborative Learning; and as a peacebuilding advisor with UNDP and UNICEF. She holds an MA in political science.
