Earlier this year, Rep. Jim McGovern introduced H. Res. 317, a resolution calling for renewed U.S. leadership on nuclear arms control and a pathway toward a world free of nuclear weapons. In the Senate, Sen. Ed Markey introduced the companion resolution, S. Res. 323, reinforcing this urgent call across both chambers of Congress.

On Feb. 28, the United States and Israel launched major military attacks on Iran. This is immoral and blatantly illegal.
No president has the authority to use military force against another nation. And no matter what the Trump administration claims, war will never lead to peace. This war has already cost thousands of lives, has further destabilized the Middle East, and is making all of us less safe.
