Northeast Associate Regional Director

The Associate Regional Director (ARD) is a key member of the Northeast Regional management team and assists the Regional Director in providing strategic and programmatic leadership in the Northeast Region, a 9-state area in which there are 4 programs at present.  The ARD is also a key member of the US Management Team, offering support and leadership to national work.

The ARD assists the Regional Director in supervision of program staff and volunteers to give regional and local expression to broader organizational goals. The ARD works in close collaboration with US Thematic Directors (for Peacebuilding, Migration and Economic Justice) and participates in US and global staff groups to help ensure program coherence, collaboration, and achievement of systems level change. Additionally, the ARD assists in management of the region’s financial resources (including grant management and compliance), participates in regional and organizational fundraising, and supports outreach with peace and justice organizations within the region. 

The ARD advises and assists the Regional Director in communications to constituents, the public, and the Religious Society of Friends. They support the Regional Director in working with governance committees and stands in when the Regional Director is on leave or otherwise away from the regional office for an extended period.
