Tell Congress: Support an end to Israel’s demolition of Palestinian communities

In May 2022, following years of legal challenges brought by Palestinian residents, the Israeli High Court approved the forced eviction of the Palestinian villages of Jinba, al Fakhit, Halaweh, Mirkez, Tabban, Maghayir al Abeed, and Isfey in the Masafer Yatta area of the West Bank. These evictions will displace over 1,000 Palestinians, more than half of them children.

Since the ruling, the Israeli army has repeatedly harassed residents in these communities; destroyed their homes, cisterns, and animal shelters; and conducted military exercises in the area. During mid-2022 Israel demolished dozens of homes in the Massafer Yatta region, in the Negev/Naquab desert, and in East Jerusalem, while continuing to create unbearable living conditions that force Palestinian residents to leave their communities.  In November 2022 the Israeli military destroyed the Masafer Yatta School. And in January 2023, the Israeli military demolished homes, water tanks, and olive groves in the area.

Take action today: Tell Congress to speak out against the demolitions and evictions of Palestinians from their lands by the Israeli government.
