The United States and Israel have launched major military attacks on Iran. This is immoral and blatantly illegal.
No president has the authority to use military force against another nation. And no matter what the Trump administration claims, war will never lead to peace. It will cost thousands of lives. It will further destabilize the Middle East. And will it make all of us less safe.
As a Quaker organization that has worked for peace and justice for over 100 years, we believe that all people deserve to live in safety and peace. We are urging Congress to act now.
