For the second year in a row, AFSC New Jersey's Immigrant Rights Program hosted its Black Immigrant Youth Summer Advocacy Training for Black immigrant and first generation high school and college students. Through workshops and hands-on experiences in Newark and Trenton, scholars explore the history of the U.S. immigration system and learn how civic engagement and community organizing can drive change.
