Miranda is the Research Analyst at AFSC’s Action Center for Corporate Accountability. She researches corporate complicity in Israel’s military occupation, apartheid regime, and genocide of Palestinians and advises activists on corporate accountability campaigns.
Prior to joining AFSC, Miranda was an advocacy officer at Defense for Children International - Palestine, where she advocated for the rights of Palestinian children. She is a researcher, writer, speaker, and campaigner who holds a bachelor’s with honors from American University in International Studies and Arabic language.
Miranda was featured as an expert source in Al Jazeera Fault Lines’ Peabody Award-winning documentary “Kids Under Fire” about the Israeli military’s targeting of Palestinian children in Gaza with live ammunition. Her expertise and analysis have appeared in The Intercept, Truthout, Middle East Eye, TRT World, Mondoweiss, Al Jazeera, and others. She lives in Washington, D.C.
