Project Title: Trauma Healing for Enhanced peacebuilding in South Sudan, Phase I
Role: Supporting partners in project planning, implementation through accompaniment to ensure project is implemented as per AFSC commitment to the donor.
Technical guidance during training of project partners and peacebuilding organizations on trauma healing to address secondary trauma among peacebuilders for enhanced peaceful co-existence.
Guiding the project counsellor to provide psychological support for peacebuilders through one-on one counselling, group therapies, psychotherapeutic debriefing, and supervision.
Supporting development and operationalization of work-based trauma healing policies for local partner organizations and policy advocacy.
Education: I hold a degree in social sciences (Sociology and Psychology) from the University of Nairobi and a diploma in clinical Medicine and surgery awarded at Egerton University. I am also trained in trauma counselling, Management and Sustainability of programs/projects.
I have over 10 year’s experience in projects coordination and management.
Before joining AFSC was serving at Centre for Health Solutions-Kenya as a Gender Based Violence Coordinator.
