Amanda is a Human Rights practitioner with a PhD in Education and founder of the Human Rights movement in Colombia and Latin America. She has served to Civil Society organizations for over 40 years doing trainings and networking on social, economic and cultural rights. Amanda served for six years with the AFSC from Colombia and during that time, she joined the CSOS committee advising the United Nations Development Program Global Administrator. Although mostly focused on business & human rights in the past 12 years, she has worked with other issues including immigration, ethnic and racial discrimination, women's rights, and socioenvironmental rights.
