Steve joined the AFSC board in 2021. He is a member of Manhasset Monthly Meeting on Long Island, New York, where he lives and owns a small business. Steve has a BA in Psychology from Stony Brook University and an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Quaker Studies from Lancaster University. He currently serves on the AFSC’s Strategic Vision Committee and Governance Restructuring Implementation Team.
Steve has helped to develop, implement, and evaluate programs for numerous non-profit organizations over the last 25 years, including those dealing with racial justice, performing arts, substance use disorder, food insecurity, and housing justice. His interests include running, hiking, skiing, traveling, and spending time with his wife, three children and two grandchildren.
