The Youth Lead (YL) Intern will work alongside two other YL and 67 Sueños staff to develop and co-facilitate their Ethnic Studies program at Rudsdale Continuation School and afterschool program. The YL interns will also organize Oakland high school youth to connect with local coalitions that fight back against the policing and incarceration of BIPOC youth. They will support 67 Sueños staff in conducting community organizing with the Free Our Kids coalition (FOK), Justice for Mario Gonzalez coalition, and other affiliated campaigns. The YL interns will prioritize utilizing art and cultural work as a primary form of youth organizing.
