67 Sueños is an Oakland-based youth organizing program with leadership development, artivism, and trauma-healing work at the center.
The Youth Leads (YL) will work alongside two other Youth Leads and 67 Sueños staff to develop and co-facilitate their after-school programing - H.Y.P.H.Y., Juvenile Justice Campaign, and Ethnic Studies Conference. The Youth Leads will mentor Oakland and Bay Area high school youth to connect with local coalitions that fight back against the policing and incarceration of BIPOC youth. They will support 67 Sueños staff leads in implementing and finalizing quarterly projects. The YL interns will prioritize utilizing art and cultural work as a primary form of organizing and youth programming.
