April 27: Our Homes, Our Power – Atlanta, GA

Join us on Sunday, April 27, 2 – 4 pm EDT for a press conference and rally to call on city leaders to adopt our policy demands for affordable housing and homelessness. Food will be provided! Following the press conference, we’ll be knocking on doors and connecting with neighbors about our online petition. We're urging city leaders to pass a bold housing justice policy package that includes:

Housing solutions for our unhoused neighbors

Truly affordable housing

New protections for renters

Resourcing for community-owned models of real estate

This is part of a bigger effort to build momentum for a People’s Movement Assembly in English Avenue (and other Atlanta neighborhoods), where residents can come together to shape a people’s agenda rooted in real community needs.
