Ayah Khalifa draws on her experiences is facilitator with AFSC’s Communities Against Islamophobia project in Greenbsoro, North Carolina. Through trainings, she helps allies understand the history of Islamophobia, how the media perpetuates stereotypes, and how individuals can help by addressing misconceptions among family, friends, and others. Ayah also helps create a safe space for Muslims to share their personal experiences and unite on ways to move their community forward.
