Tell Congress: Repeal 2002 Authorization for the Use of Military Force
Share
In March, the Senate voted to end the 2002 Authorization for the Use of Military Force (AUMF) – the legislation that authorized the Iraq War. Now the House must follow suit and vote YES to repeal.
It has been 20 years since the start of the disastrous U.S. invasion of Iraq. Despite the decades that have passed, the 2002 AUMF remains in place. The human and economic costs have been high – and their impacts continue to affect us today.
As long as the 2002 AUMF remains in place, the U.S. will remain at war. Tell your representative to repeal the 2002 AUMF today!
