Tell Congress: Reject health care cuts and tax breaks for the rich!

Our federal budget should invest in the health and well-being of all people, not just billionaires or corporate executives. But right now, Congress is debating a budget reconciliation bill that would slash essential programs like Medicaid and SNAP to fund military spending, mass deportations, and tax cuts for the rich.

This approach to government policy is backward. We should divest from programs that perpetuate violence and inequality. These resources must be redirected toward ensuring that every person can lead a dignified life.

Congress needs to hear us loud and clear: We need investments in food and medicine, not bombs! Join AFSC in opposing increased Pentagon spending, anti-immigrant policies, and tax breaks for the wealthy. Urge Congress to invest in life-affirming priorities like health care, education, and support for people in need.
