Congress must act now to end the war with Iran. Although a ceasefire was declared in April, the U.S. has resumed bombing Iran and threatened further escalation.
Both the House and Senate have passed resolutions directing the Trump administration to end the war. Now, Congress must ensure the administration stops all military action and works for a just and lasting peace with Iran.
No president has the authority to use military force against another nation. And no matter what the Trump administration claims, war will never lead to peace. This war has already cost thousands of lives, further destabilized the Middle East, and made all of us less safe.
As a Quaker organization, we believe that all people deserve to live in safety and peace. We urge Congress to act now.
