The climate crisis has disproportionately harmed Indigenous, Black, and Brown people and other marginalized communities worldwide. These communities have made the fewest contributions to greenhouse gases, yet they have faced the most devastating consequences to their health, livelihoods, and ecosystems.
Congress continues to consider policy proposals that would make more concessions to fossil fuel industries, gut what is left of vulnerable environmental protections and undermine progress in addressing climate change at home and abroad.
