AFSC's DPRK (North Korea) Program works with four cooperative farms, providing technical support to address production and soil fertility issues. AFSC also works with regional institutions and experts to provide trainings and trade.

In 1997, AFSC was one of the first two nonprofit organizations allowed to work directly with cooperative farms in the DPRK.
