The Community Safety Beyond Policing (CSBP) project in the Just Peace thematic area of AFSC is seeking an individual with marketing experience who is interested in exploring the abolition movement as part of a paid, 12-month internship, with the possibility of extension. CSBP has been developing a national online community of people who want to learn more about reducing our reliance on policing and building community alternatives. Since 2020 we have produced 15 national webinars on various topics related to policing, engaging grassroots organizers, academics and directly impacted people as speakers; and developed 2 study cohorts for deeper analysis in Restorative Justice and Community Alternatives to Police Response—engaging 1000+ people across the country.
