Take Action

Tell Congress: End Immigration Detention Quotas!

Did you know there’s a federal policy that requires U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to maintain 34,000 immigrant detention beds every day? This “bed quota” deprives immigrants of their liberty and tears families apart—all while benefiting for-profit prison companies that maintain those beds.

Help choose AFSC’s Nobel Peace Prize nominee

In 1947, the AFSC and Friends Service Council in Britain accepted the Nobel Peace Prize on behalf of all Quakers. Because Nobel laureates have the opportunity to nominate future Peace Prize winners, we invite you to learn the criteria and submit your choice.

Join AFSC in supporting the HP boycott

Call on the CEO of HP to stop the company from profiting from the illegal Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territory and violations of Palestinians’ human rights.
