Shannon Sullivan

Shannon Sullivan is Regional Director of AFSC's Midwest Region.

You’re cordially invited to meet and welcome Shannon Sullivan, Regional Director, AFSC Midwest Regional Office.

Shannon Sullivan began her service as AFSC Regional Director in December 2013. A passionate social justice activist, she was the founding Executive Director of the Illinois Safe Schools Alliance, a statewide organization that works to ensure K-12 schools fully address issues of sexual orientation and gender identity.

AFSC’s Midwest Region, based in Chicago, includes 13 programs in 12 states — including the Immigrants Voice Program and Peacebuilding Program in Des Moines.

The reception will be held at Chet Guinn’s Firehouse, 1041 8th Street, Des Moines -- just north of I-235, west of the Holiday Inn Downtown, and south of DMACC Urban Campus.
