An exhibit of 61 posters from various boycott campaigns

On Monday, November 11 at 7:15pm Mr. Michael Langa will speak about the campaign to end apartheid in South Africa.   He wil speak both about the boycott campaign that played a large role in ending apartheid and about the Truth and Reconcilliation process that took place afterwards.  Mr. Langa grew up in the Black Townships during apartheid and eventually participated in the TRC that was set up to address the past injustices of apartheid and to promote reconcilliation in a democratic South Africa.  The event will take place in the Chapel at the First Unitarian Universalist Church in Worcester, surrounded by the poster exhibit.  The exhibit has almost 60 posters from a variety of campaigns over the past 50 years.  A gallery guide provides background on each poster and campaign.
