Join us for the  

Visions of Peace at the Crossroads 2013 Festival

First Friday, June 7, 6:00 to 9:00pm

In the Crossroads Art District At the parking lot south of 1811 Baltimore, KCMO
Music, Performance, Spoken Word, Art and more including music by:

  • Nicolette Page, uniquely combining multiple genres of music from folk, reggae and R & B to soul;

  • Bob and Diana Suckiel, playing "old time" music, blues, spirituals and a few topical broadsides; and 

  • Streetlevel Uprising, with explosive socially conscious lyrics in a blend of reggae, rock and a laid back groove. 

and poetry and spoken word by:

Glenn North, Janey Harris, Paul Goldman and Elston Jeffers

and performance pieces by:

Midwest InterPlay and Bro John Anderson

This year we will also have performances by youth participating in AFSC’s “If I Could Change the World” Spoken Word Project!
Join us in the “Lend Us Your Hands for Peace” art project, enjoy the performances, and learn what you can do from dozens of social change groups!
