How AFSC spends its money

In 2012, the American Friends Service Committee facilitated programs in 13 countries, including the United States, engaging thousands of people in our work for lasting peace with justice. Eighty percent of all expenses in 2012 went to program work, well within the guidelines set by the Better Business Bureau and other groups.

As a faith organization, AFSC does not have to file a 990 form with the IRS. Since we are committed to financial transparency, we publish the information on director compensation on our website, which can be found here. You can also review our most recent independent audit.
Email Mark Graham, director of communications, at ask@afsc.org if you have further questions about our finances.
AFSC is grateful to the many compassionate individuals and groups who make our worldwide programs for peace and justice possible.
