Saturday, April 19, 2014 - 8:00pm - Thursday, May 1, 2014 - 10:00pm

What: The Chicago Palestine Film Festival (CPFF) is an independent, not-for-profit, nonsectarian film festival based in Chicago that exhibits and promotes films by Palestinian directors and films about Palestine. The first of its kind, we are dedicated to presenting a film festival that is open, critical, and reflective of the culture, experience and vision of the filmmakers.

Where: We will be featuring films at the Gene Siskel Film Center
When: April 19th-May 1st 2014. Please visit www.palestinefilmfest.com for the full calendar.
Why: Our goal to is to give Palestinian directors and films a platform to tell their stories. Because at the end of the day, the human experience is all about the stories that make us. Through these films, we bring to Chicago new perspectives, support international directors and filmmakers and help in enriching Chicago’s historic cinematic community. It’s bringing the many dimensions of the thought-provoking art of film from one end of the world to another. It’s sharing ideas and emotions and lives. It’s story time!
