Building Peace One Community at a Time

In 2010, AFSC transitioned to new leadership as Shan Cretin became our new General Secretary. As always, the work moved forward and, sustained by our extended family of supporters, we celebrated the accomplishments in the community worldwide. The optimistic outcomes that this Annual Report highlights are examples of AFSC’s commitment to effective, efficient Quaker peace building, one community at a time.

Our 2010 annual report, Building peace...one community at a time, describes our work in 17 countries, including the United States. You will find stories of our work in various African countries, Haiti, and cities across the US. As AFSC helped communities realize their own strength to solve problems and resolve conflicts.

The 24 pages in this report provide an overview of the wide range of work we did throughout 2010, including a summary of AFSC's financial situation.
