AFSC holds Tucson Public Hearing on Prison Privatization

AFSC sponsored a Public Hearing on prison privatization in Arizona. This is a record of some of the testimonies and presentations given at the event. 150 people were in attendance. Stephen Nathan, Susan Maurer, Victoria Lopez, Joe Glen, and Jim Sanders were the speakers. It was convened by Phil Lopes, Richard Miranda, Richard Elias, Steve Kozachik, Nancy Young-Wright, and Mark Kimble. Moderated by Mari Herreras. The conveners listened and received the testimony and public comment. These testimonies were delivered by AFSC to the Governor of Arizona and the State Legislature on Tuesday, February 15, 2011.
