Thanks to all Kansas Citians who participated in the Occupy the Dream: Dr. King on Economic Justice and the Occupy Wall Street Movement forum on January 16. The event was powerful and engaged over 200 area residents in consideration of King’s call for economic justice, the civil rights movement and the Occupy movement.

You can also check out the archive recording of the KCUR Central Standard show “Are We There Yet? Working Towards a Dream” featuring Occupy the Dream panel members and organizers, including Ira Harritt of AFSC. Thanks for your efforts for peace, justice and the beloved community.
