Congress has created a Super-Committee to address federal budget priorities and the deficit. There are LOTS of problems with this process, but it is there, and it will act. Senator Kerry (D-MA) is on of the members of the committee. People in MA and surrounding states are collecting signatures on a petition calling on him to protect Social Security, control health care costs with Medicare for All, end the Afghanistan and Iraq wars and cut the bloated Pentagon budget.
