AFSC is committed to social justice, peace and humanitarian service in Africa. We work with people who are seeking peace in their lives and the life of their community after having been affected and displaced by war and conflict.

The Africa Regional Office serves as the programmatic and logistical support center for AFSC's programs in Africa. Staff in the office coordinate  regional conferences for peace practitioners on a variety of topics and works on policy recommendations and advocacy arising out AFSC's experience working with communities around Africa.
